I hit alt plus a plus b plus d.
Now, at the top of my in-box list view, I have groups by expanded, but then it says date “none” expanded.

When I do this, I get into the view menu with alt V, but then the letters a and d don’t take me anywhere. In other words, Jaws does not respond, and nothing changes.

Hi, Tom. You first have to make sure that your messages are sorted by date in the View Menu. ALT plus V, followed by A, then B, then D as in Date.

Another option is if folks have a program like winimage, with which you can make an ISO of the files on your HD.
A great open source tool that I use to write ISO images of Linux and WinPE to USB

The only way I know of to save older restore points is to boot to Windows WinPE and copy the system volume information folder, that is where the restore points are kept, at least the backups are

Another option is using plain old paste, but then choosing "Merge Formatting" from the options that come up in a context menu immediately after the paste.

Its not a tool I need to know how to use, as it’s a tool build-in to the operating system, so your point is not valid here IMO, as I used much harder and advanced tools and they worked.
