Those Fn key functions are hardware-specific. On my Dell its the same, but
on a Vaio it's Fn +3 and 4 to do the same.

Some time ago someone recommended Talking desktop clock. I think it will do what you want. Only, I don't recall where I found it, hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.

I do not know what it is called exactly but we have these little small carry oven timers.
No access but you can memorize where the buttons are and keep on starting it at the time you set it up for.

which you can set reminders, every 15 30 etc?
You can have chimes on or off?
