Bill, If you are using the Jaws cursor, you have navigated outside the OCR window, and onto the web page.
That is why it works for you.

When you do OCR with Jaws, it is just text, not active content like on a web page.
So you cannot, it's just a text copy.

I think that happened to me last week and I gave up on trying to defer it and just went to the update and shut down option in the start menu.

My suggestion would be to give Microsoft accessibility help desk a call. They are very helpful, and they have the ability to set up a remote session on to the computer and help you out. and besides
