have a feature on called correct spelling as you type?

in calendar is great for keeping track of appointments and very easy and

Sorry to be a little late here. I really think you have to try the applications with demonstration installation. Usually, these will run for 30 days and then die. You can talk to the software

Sounds like you have "correct spelling mistakes" turned on. I never use this
mode myself so can't advise. You can turn this off in the options dialog, I
think under proofing.

I got a real puzzle going on in Word 2010 and outlook 2010. When I'm typing
and I hear a misspelled word I will go back to correct it by doing
control+back space. This is all fine
