Re: Antivirus software.
I have heard a lot about how Windows Defender has improved. So much so I
abandoned the ESET Smart security subscription I had because of
deteriorating accessibility.
I have however kept my old 1.7

Re: Best Jaws version with Win 8.1
Hi and thanks. I’ll give 2020 a try with my Win 8.1 PC, but I’m not too optimistic. I can’t even get optimal performance using J2020 with Windows 10. But, maybe I’ll get lucky…

Get the latest version, if you can. You can always still keep older versions on the computer in case you need them at a later time.

Re: Strange issue wiht Braille Blaster
Well, I think I solved the issue.
Apparently, after updating to Windows 10 1020004, I had to check the Run as Administrator in the desktop shortcut.
It has run normally now twice.

I am running Windows 10 Home 102004.
JAWS Version 2020.2004.66.400
Braille Blaster:bb: 1.1.24.190-stable
If Jaws is running when I launch Braille Blaster, it doesn’t open and Jaws reports Lost

Hi,
If you are using the "free" FamilySearch page
https://www.familysearch.org/en/
Try a simple search. There are six fields for First, Last, birth

Hi,
The name caught my interest as I’m writing a family history. I got on the website and saw that it’s free, but I couldn’t figure out how to register or sign in as a new user.
