Hi, it is same here, after closing Word documents, Jaws keeps hanging for a while.

Edge is available for Windows 7 and works fine, after all, it's just another chromium based browser.

Sometimes if you invoke picture smart, alt_spacebar, then p, then c you can read the text on the shared screen.

I’m still getting this behavior with Rord and Outlook 2016. Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don’t. Repairing Word and Outlook helped but it’s still happening to some extent. Sharon

I am sure what is sent out is a picture of what is on there screen. There would be no reason to send control information and text when a picture of it would be simpler. No screen reader is

Hi Chris, what my coworkers are screen sharing is whatever is on their screen, such as what is being displayed in visual studio as they drive. It might be a video, as they screen share themselves

I doubt it. The thing being shared is likely an image, and it would have to be ocr'ed and it wouldn't turn out well at all.

I am using Windows 10 latest update and Jaws 2019. The Office suite is 2019 single version, not 360. Happens when apps close, such as Windows, Excel and other apps as paint, etc.

Yes, this is same issue I believe. JAWS either goes silent or crashes and restarts but takes up to 30 seconds. This is with latest Windows 10 and JAWS installed. Dan

Of late I’ve been having the same problem in outlook. No sound at all, almost as if the computer is turned off.

May be not the answer you want to hear however, I use office 365 and with that, I can have a Microsoft exchange, Hotmail, Gmail and POP 3 accounts.

Yes, I have my gmail account tied directly into Outlook but you can have a separate way to get gmail either through web mail or using another mail program. Dan
