I understand that it appears that Dictation Bridge for JAWS is a product, but it does not in fact work. Lucy Greko, one of those who spearheaded the project, confirmed this when I met year last year.

Trouble with FamilySearch is that their search algorithm is rubbish. If I search for someone and put their birth place as London, it gives me results from the USA.
All the best

Richard,
Both MusicBrainz Picard and MP3Tag are strictly CD metadata "fetchers" and editors. They do not rip.
That being said, quite a few popular media players, which do rip, have MusicBrainz lookup

Press space+v to get the version number.
It should be:
1.1 Build 20170307
I believe that is the last update.
If you don’t have it, I put it on my web site because HIMS is so completely

Re: jaws and the Braille edge
Is the Braill Edge using the latest firmware update from HIMS?
You will have to check that with the HIMS website and find out how to find the version number of the Braille Edge firmware.

Brian, do you know if this would also rip songs from a CD with the tag information?
I just looked at the web site and it said that it can look up a CD … someone was asking about this kind of thing

One more thought.
Make sure that Narrator braille is not turned on.
I don’t know that he would have done that, but the Narrator braille driver conflicts with the Jaws braille driver.

interesting, I've done the things you've suggested.
the interesting thing is, the display works on his windows 7 machine, earlier jaws.
very strange.
