Hay, Didn’t there use to be a program called JAWBONES that was supposed to work between JAWS and Dragon?

Thanks so much for this, Dean. It wasn't listed in the documentation.

Dean,
Thanks for making me aware of this as I did not realize that the Dictationbridge scripts for JAWS were in such an unfinished state. I hope that the project team makes this clear

There is a j-say list which takes j-dictate questions and discussion. It is low-traffic. You can join by writing to <j-say-subscribe@...>

Re: Converting mp4 files to either .wav or mp3 files
The ffmpeg command is very simple, just ffmpeg -i <mp4 file name> <wav
file name> and that's it. I have never tried this on Windows, so I
have no idea on how this works under that OS.

Is There an E-mail List for J-Dictate Users?
Hi, Everyone.
I bought J-Dictate and have installed it and am now riding around the
learning curve and putting it through its paces. Is there a mailing
list where I can get questions answered? I know

I took a look at the Zamzar File conversion site and it didn’t look like it was free.
The Pontse Media Downloader is free.
I use it to convert Youtube music to mp3.

Not free though. Worth the investment but probably only if you want to do more with it besides simple format conversion.

Zanzar works great with JAWS but it's not free. You are allowed two free conversions per day.

It looks like Zamzar is a web conversion site that handles about every format and then some.

Try audacity. You may have to install the ffmpeg library separately. The latter has a command line interface that you could use and cut audacity out of the equation (I think) but, it’s a bit
