Dan, another benefit of OneDrive is that you can have a terabyte of storage if you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber. For me this makes OneDrive a more attractive solution over Dropbox.

The information is being read even if it cannot be seen.
I am using an old version of office, but i have the latest update for adobe

Word is my default PDF viewer with Microsoft 365 and JFW 2020. I would be interested in side-by-side comparisons that demonstrate why Word is such a bad tool. My only comparison was using Adobe Reader

The screen reader will always read all of the text in an XL column even if the column is truncated and the words are not visible.

There are some formatting issues but we’re does fine opening PDFs and even saving them the PDFs

You can open it in a browser, like fire fox or Chrome or Edge.
Also, if you silence it in word or whatever, try using the Jaws cursor.
I would not use Word for a PDF.

I really like one drive and find it easier than dropbox. I can access my files and make them available off-line if I wish. The one drive account is always available on the computer from which I said

I am using excel and ms word.
When i save files as pdf, jaws reads out text even if it cannot be seen.
I had my son look at a particular document, and this is basically what he told me.

Usually this indicates an incompatible driver or app version in use, as there are reports that removing OneDrive prior to applying Version 2004 will work on some cases.

I believe you have a choice to store everything on your local drive, but even if it is in the cloud, you can opt to make it available off line.

Maybe not. Maybe it just need someone to have a quick look at its Windows Update screen, or the event logger. I can do some of that for you via a screenreader connection, JAWS Tandem or NVDA
