I think Mike was referring to the labeled graphics, but poking around in the various graphics settings, have you double checked the minimum and maximum graphics sizes to make sure what you are trying

Remove the PIN or fingerprint or face sign in options
Then it should be possible to to use the netplwiz user dialog options to automatically sign in again
