insert-spacebar
'o' for OCR
W for window, D for document, s for screen.

I should have waited for you to follow up before posting my reply. Let me just add, in case people don't recognize it, that pressing shift-F10 is the same as pressing the applications key.

After you've selected the item shift F10 to context then select "edit text"
If there is any text there then you should be able to read it otherwise the
objects most likely are pictures of text or

In that case, the chances are that the object you clicked on is a graphic or perhaps a photo.

nothing else.
