Control M is the shortcut to mute and unmute. I'll see what else I can find. You cannot just go into a room without an invitation, but you can do as I have done and ask someone to set up a practice

Sounds like you’re selecting the wrong scanner driver. Are you selecting the WIA one instead of the TWAIN one?

Yes, there was one place it didn't talk, but when I took a picture with Voice Dream Scanner, it was just a screen saying don't turn off your computer.
