using 2 sound cardss
I recently had Windows 7 reinstalled because of some issues. and I want to have JAWS talk thru the motherboard sound card while playing music/podcasts thru the sound blaster that's set as the default

Copying the texxt into notepad, and then back into word does help.
As you said, it does eliminate all of the extraneous heading and paragraph
markerrs I don't need.

Or headings, I find many sites where knowing some sequence of heading
levels will get me to the actual content with just a couple jumps.

You can try first saving the email text in the notepad. This should remove
the header markers. The text can then be copied and pasted in a Word doc
for your purposes as plain text.

You may have accidentally hidden the ribbons. I believe the keyboard
shortcut to hide/show the ribbon is either Shift F1, or Shift Alt F1, but

Word 2010 menus reading blank unless in file menu
Happy fourth of July to people in US. Jaws is giving me blanks when in menus. This is with exception of the file menu. It only happens in word 2010. I am running Jaws 16 windows 8.1 64 bit machine.
