I was assuming she was talking about the currency symbol, which is
different than the hash mark produced by shift+3 on a US keyboard.

The easy way using jaws is to use the jaws+4 dialog, the pound symbol
is on that list.
There is a way using the numpad but it's a pain because you have to
know the character number for the symbol you

in JAWS 16. So, if you are using an earlier version, you must upgrade to
take advantage of this functionality.

Hi, Keith. This menu item is only in the very latest update to JAWS. It was discussed here on the list a couple of days ago, but since I don't have that version of JAWS, I can't tell you where it is.

Insert-z turns off the virtual cursor. Insert-n toggles navigation quick keys on and off. Is that what you are looking for????
