Re: What do I gain with Windows 10 as a blind person?
That's good to hear. Most people know that Lenovo has that IBM pedigree--quite a family tradition.

I loved the old Qualcomm Eudora, but I ran into some problems running it under 64-bit Windows 7. There was probably a work around, but a sighted friend kept telling me how much she loved Thunderbird,

Actually, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E545, and I could make this change somewhere in the control panel--maybe under Keyboard? Windows 7 here. No BIOS or UEFI changes needed.

Dave,
When JAWS arbitrarily shuts up, I think you use the JAWS key+Windows key+F4 solution, right? If it's failed to bring back JAWS for me, it's been maybe only once or twice in many months.

It dawned on me to tab to change in Spell Check, so that is another problem
solved. Now, if only I could figure out how to add words to the dictionary
I'd be one step farther.

I have used Outlook, and I was annoyed with it. So, I went to Windows live mail, and have had no issues with it. I suppose it all depends on what you do with it.

Melissa, if you press Control Y, it asks if you want to go to another
folder and announces how many unread messages are in the file that you are
in. I wish it was as easy as Outlook Express, but

Reading Excel Row Titles
Dear List,
I pressed insert+Alt+Ctrl+R,
to turn row titles on.
Now my question is, How do I turn it off?
Thanks in advance.

OK. I will have to try it that way. My message to Apple Accessibility already went out to make them aware that this page is difficult to use with screen readers. I don't know if they will do much, but

Lenovo must love those lap top keyboards; one came with this nice big computer, and it now hides behind my dresser, replaced by an ordinary keyboard.
