Re: Windows 10 question
Thanks for offering to do that. If I interpreted what Brian was saying, I still have a few months for this to work out.

To be alerted when text is covered up in Excel, in quick settings (insert-v) check the box for cell text visibility detection.

Thanks, Richard and all. You all make some good points to consider. I’ll play with One Drive.

Alt + F2 takes you in to the gallery view in Zoom
According to the latest release of Zoom, Alt F2 takes you into the gallery view. I believe you have to be on a meeting screen for this to take effect.
Cheers, Jon

Dan, another benefit of OneDrive is that you can have a terabyte of storage if you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber. For me this makes OneDrive a more attractive solution over Dropbox.

Perhaps it does, I use an old Office, so I have never used a newer MS Word.

Word is my default PDF viewer with Microsoft 365 and JFW 2020. I would be interested in side-by-side comparisons that demonstrate why Word is such a bad tool. My only comparison was using Adobe Reader

The screen reader will always read all of the text in an XL column even if the column is truncated and the words are not visible.

You can open it in a browser, like fire fox or Chrome or Edge.
Also, if you silence it in word or whatever, try using the Jaws cursor.
I would not use Word for a PDF.

reading pdf documents with jaws.
Hi,
I am using excel and ms word.
When i save files as pdf, jaws reads out text even if it cannot be seen.
I had my son look at a particular document, and this is basically what he told me.

Hi,
Usually this indicates an incompatible driver or app version in use, as there are reports that removing OneDrive prior to applying Version 2004 will work on some cases.
Let’s discuss this
