The only reason I would force an update to Version 2004 at this point in time is if I had a machine that somehow never updated beyond 1803. At the moment Versions 1809,

I know of very few who can't follow these instructions: Doing a Windows 10 Repair Install or Feature Update Using the Windows 10 ISO file

I did mean 2004. I guess I will have to hire someone to fix this problem. The 2004 update is not here. This computer was bought new in 2018.

I dug up my Chrome tutorial and was able to make DuckDuckGo the search engine.Am I done or do I need to download anything from DuckDuckGo?

Thanks, Judy. I saw Steve's post before yours and Google Chrome is my default browser. I think Google is currently the search engine, but must double check.

Thank you, Steve. I'm running a version of Firefox before 78 and with all the Firefox problems, I think it's best not to add anything to it in case it makes things worse. Chrome is my default

In the Zoom book from Carol Center it gives the keystrokes alt+f2, and to switch to speaker view is alt+f1. You can also tab to these settings, a third one being full screen. the book points out

That's because it's not a browser. It's a search engine. The instructions talk about clicking on a magnifying glass in a search bar, but none of that is accessible to us screenreader user types. So
