Hi, Adrian. I find that, if the pdf document is text-based, Edge does well, but if the pdf needs OCR scanning such as goes on in JAWS, if a document shows up as "empty" in Adobe DC, Edge just shows a

That's odd. I'm using JAWS2021 and the add button is there. Try alt-a, or just press enter. I think add is the default.

click on it nothing happens;
When in pc cursor, I don't even see the add button at all.

Setting a bookmark in Word
I don't know what is different from name and location. when I add bookmarks using each one, they are accessed the same.
So.
1. Alt-n, then k. Choose either name or location because it doesn't seem

Simplest would be to install Acrobat DC. Adobe probably doesn’t even support the XI version any more.

I am glad to hear this from someone else, because it is odd and seems to be something connected with the Jaws list alone.
I use Thunderbird and/or WLM rather than Outlook so it is not application

FYI for all, I’ve got Cisco Any connect running to do my job. However, when I disconnected the VPN, Voice assist actually worked correctly. Seems like the VPN was blocking JAWS from hitting whatever
