You can also use Jaws speech history. Press the layered keystroke Jaws Key+Spacebar followed by, H, for, History, to read any error messages or any other messages that the Jaws might have read

I think that the closest thing that we have to a command to speak the last utterance is the insert-tab hotkey. In many cases this keystroke may do what you want. In situations where it does

Hi Steve.
I installed the Vocalizer that you listed in your message, but I don't know how to get JAWS to detect the three voices I installed.

Switching voice profiles according to your mood
Does anyone have experiences with changing JAWS voices or voice profile according to your mood? For example, reading in the evening it might be nicer to have an evening voice profile with softer tones

Unfortunately, it is something you have to pay for, but you get every Vocalizer voice for a one off payment, both compact and Embedded

Hi John,
Disclaimer: We do sell it, but I do know it will do what you want.
Here's a link to the seven day trial. If you then want to buy it, hit the Buy link from inside the app

Well, in Outlook if there is a group of messages, JAWS starts at the bottom of the list instead of at the top.
When I am on the desk top, jaws says selected and then unselected over and over.

Hi.
Where do I find Code Factory? If it's something I have to pay for, I can't do that now due to limited funds.

You don't, in all likelihood. That's what the dictionaries are about. If you know that you have certain abbreviations that the synth is expanding, then have the screen reader capture those and

Hi Mike,
And it does seem to work for me. It intercepts the Vocalizer synth and doesn’t expand abbreviations.
So I think JAWS is throwing the screen reader flag.
All the best
