Changing read only format when opening word 13 doc
Hi List,
A bit desperate here. Using word 13 and latest JFW.
Every time I open a word doc in outlook it opens in read only format. It is driving me nuts.

There should be a button on the page which says use outlook.com mobile.
The URL is really long, and I don't even know if the address I'm getting is the link for only my hotmail account.

I retract that statement about Control Panel, at least for Windows 10 after the Anniversary Update, as it's not in Control Panel on my 64-bit Win10 Home machine when I look now.

It can't hurt. Simply invoke Windows Update in the manner appropriate to the version of Windows you're running. Going to Control Panel will get you to where you can invoke
