As an aside I don't understand why screen reader mode can't be included as an option in the program's menu system to make it a bit easier for users who either want to enable or disable this mode

When wanting to skim read a document or email post, I myself just use the JAWS key and down arrow. I like to keep things simple rather then cross my hands, then holding up a finger to do something.

It will probably come up talking with Cortanna and ask you some questions and tell you when you can launch narator to continue, but the hotkey is control+windows+enter.

I’ve had the opposite experience with browsers. I used to use FF but it was getting very slow on most pages. I was advised to switch to Chrome which worked for s few months until some site changes

What is a not well known but great JAWS commands
Just today I learned that if you turn JAWS help mode on with JAWS + 1 and then double tap a key command, you get a slightly different help description than if you press a key onces. I had no idea
