I've seen this problem too. Don't know how to fix it. Very annoying to start typing and find all my words ran together when this happens.

i don't know how to explain it. but windows m does not minimize all program screens. if you can see at all try it.
load a program that you can open a dialog within the program. then press windows m.

I wish I'd have known about Alt+Spacebar+ Up Arrow - I felt
much more secure with Close. It worked - my first choice for
exit now. Thanks for that tip.

It is just that we did not used to have to jump through all
of those hoops, kind of like having a car and having to
crank it to start it and push a starter on the floor, then
use a clutch to engage

Actually, these keys do the same as alt plus f4. They close the program to where Jaws stops speaking. I still have to hit windows plus D to get to the desktop. No big deal, except that
