The OCR result is displayed in the virtual viewer, if you want to save it you have to select all, copy, open a text editor or Word processor of your choice and paste, then save as usual.

Well, one awesome improvement with Jaws 2018 is the fact that you can now do OCR on any image file, not just on PDF files opened in Acrobat Reader any more. All you have to do is bring up your context

Just to chime in on the positive side, I use Office 2016 via Office 365 on both several Windows 7 desktops as well as my Windows 10 laptop.
I have pretty much stopped using Jaws 18 and exclusively

Hi,
Regarding Windows 7 or 8.x to 10: I’d strongly advise folks to get a free license before the offer expires, downgrade, then upgrade later.

I would suggest that you stick with jaws 18, 2018 seems far more resource heavy and slow to me as compared to jaws18,and there arent any improvements in 2018 that arent in 18 that you

Yeah, this doesn’t work either. I tried it earlier. Arrowing through your list it doesn’t give you a complete list of contacts and you can’t navigate via letter since an edit field will pop up

Thanks for the help. My user is still having this issue even after being on the phone with support for over an hour. Maximizing the screen, running outlook repairs, reinstalling JAWS, reinstalling

Did you ask Kevin why you should stay with Windows 7? There are definitely some changes but it seems much more like Windows 7 than Windows 8 did.
