My curiosity is peaked; what is a port scanner? I have not thought about computer ports since back around Windows 98.

Re: Msword 2016 and sounds
Hello:
You have to download a sounds.exe from Microsoft to make this work.
I like the sounds that it uses, it just gives you confermation as to what
you are doing.
Have a good day.

Re: one voice only
Easy to get this a little messed up. Select your synthesizer under "Select a Voice Profile". Then under "Voice Adjustments" choose the type of voice you want . Several tabs or down arrows later

Re: Msword 2016 and sounds
curious... is there a sounds pack (or something) that needs to be
downloaded and installed before enabling them in Word as in previous
versions of Office?

How do I go about getting Jaws to use only one voice or synthesizer at all times? I don't know how I managed to get different voices depending where or what I'm doing at the time. Thanks
