Just make sure it says “Mail, trusted Microsoft Store App”, you might have to arrow around to find it or you can of course go through the start menu and the all programs list. For me if I type

I pressed the windows key, typed in mail and pressed enter. It took me back to Outlook.

New Mail Alerts are also created by Outlook, at least from Outlook 2010 onward, though which versions have it on versus off by default I cannot say.

Do yu sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account?
If so then you most likely get the notification from the Windows Mail app which might be automatically set up using your Microsoft account.

Hello, When I’m using Jaws2018, Outlook 2016 and Windows 10, whenever I get incoming emails I get a notice which reads the subject line. Is there a way to turn this off? Cheers, Kevin
