Hi Shirley, It’s a good idea to know how to use it, it’s a feature I use almost daily if I get inaccessible PDF files, now in Jaws 2018 Jaws OCR can also do OCR on other image files like jpg

This method only works for a PDF. Shirley said somebody emailed her a picture of some text so it is quite likely that this would be a jpg (JPEG) file in which case you have to go through Windows
