Re: Copying Portions of a Web Page Preserving Elements
Bill,
I did that, but I also used the Ninite installer.
It all worked fine.
I was not at the most current version of Firefox.

I just downloaded the installer for it. Now I have to back up my boot disk, remove the old and install the new. I don't trust anything as far as I can throw it, so a full backup must be done

No, you just need to uninstall the ESR version, then go to mozilla.org, and download the regular Firefox.

I have interviewed for a job that will use a software package called CDK clm. Has anyone used that with JAWS? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: "From" and "To" Not Spoken When Making a Large Selection in JAWS 2019 with MS Word 2016
What method are you using to make your selection?
I’m not sure I ever had Jaws say anything about from and to, but I’ve only really been using Jaws since version 18, for a few months, then 2018

You need the installer for the non-ESR version. The ESR version will only update within that version.
I guess it is called Quantum?

Ah-hah, 60.3.0 is an ESR? Interesting.OK then, I must have to do something to tell my FF to get off that ESR version and move on. What do I have to do to effect this change?

Now thereby hangs another tale. Everybody tells me the latest FF is 63 something. Mine says 60.3.0, and no matter how many times I try to update it, I am told my Firefox is up to date.

Re: Is there a reason to not upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10?
Sorry, you are half right. You should not run a defrag on an ssd, but chkdsk is basically a read test and it will not hurt an ssd. Have a look at this link:

"From" and "To" Not Spoken When Making a Large Selection in JAWS 2019 with MS Word 2016
Hi!
In JAWS 2019 using MS Word 2016, when I make a large selection it does not say a short phrase of the “from” and “to” of the selection. For example, if I selected an entire paragraph

Hi Mike,
With a rule such as you describe, the number 1 is part of the actual word but not part of the replacement word and so JAWS won't speak it.
To take an easier example: actual word dog;

Hi Ann,
When Keith speaks about the logon screen I assume he means the password screen. If Windows Key+Control+Enter does not start Narrator then nothing else will either, what you describe first
