Re: How do I make the "pane" with the "resume reading" button go away in MS Word 2016?
Yeah, I get it. You are right. Messing around with the registry is not something to monkey around with.

Re: Searching for a JAWS-friendly email client
Have you tried the Windows 10 Mail app? You asked for basic and I am pretty sure it will do that for you.

Re: fb freezing
Hi Larry,
While I agree that Windows 10 is better than Windows 8.1 that will definitely not be the issue.
He doesn't mention which version of Firefox he uses, I would first see if this also happens

I constantly forget that Groups.io does not support BBCode. Here's the click through link as it should have been in the last message:

I, too, would recommend Outlook or Thunderbird, and with the recent advent of the legal sale of recycled Office 2016 licenses you can get Office 2016, including Outlook 2016 if you make sure to buy

Re: fb freezing
Hi,
Some of the freezing probably is in part due to the fact that you are runningWindows 8.1 with newer technology that continues to evolve.
If possible, I'd upgrade to Windows 10.

Have you tried accessing m.facebook.com with another browser? Perhaps with NVDA? How about the regular Facebook site? Same results? Is your browser up to date.
I’ve visited the mobile FB site

Searching for a JAWS-friendly email client
Dear List friends,
I was previously using Windows Live Mail 2012 with Windows 7 to check my emails. Now I have upgraded to Windows 10 & found that Windows Live Mail will not install on Windows

Hi Richard,
I read the instructions the same as you.
Given the sensitivity of the registry, I do not feel I should be giving advice here. But, I would call Microsoft Accessibility; 800-936-5900.

Hi Richard T.,
Despite my previous reply, I got brave and tried the solution in the article you cited below. However, I ran into a conundrum as described next. I am hoping you might be able to

Re: track changes (for Word 2016 documents) broken in Jaws 2019?
I would suggest that you formally report this to the bug fix cue.
Hopefully, in the update it will get fixed.
