Re: A question about system sounds in windows 10
Hi, Maria. In order for me to do that, I would have to plug in my external CD drive. There is none built into my computer. Most of the laptops, now do not include an internal CD drive.

Hi, Mike. Listening for the motor doesn't do any good if the computer has a solid state drive. Often the fan motor is not on, and in this case, there is no disk spinning to hear.

Program Event For Top & Bottom Alert With Sound
Hi All,
The Program Event , Default Beep, is what the program / sound event is called that you would assign a sound to, if you want to hear a sound when you go to the top or bottom
of a file.

Re: Jaws 2018 Update on desktop with window 10
be aware, what I provided is the path to where you'll find the setting.
if you have JAWS starting up from the system tray or not, you'll have to
adjust what you have to do. do you know what to do?

Re: A question about system sounds in windows 10
as my friend tried with his Windows 10 system, the reg hack doesn't play
the sound at shutdown, even though the Exit Windows event is revealed in
the system sound event list. oh well.
