Re: JAWS 2018.1808.10 Reports Incorrect File Count in File Explorer
I did some testing about this problem today, and it seems that if your view is set to Details, that's where the problem rears its ugly head. List view appears to work correctly.

Re: JAWS 2018.1808.10 Reports Incorrect File Count in File Explorer
If you do a control-A and select all, you will be told how many files are selected and it will be the correct number.

Hi Kim/all,
I have switched back to firefox version 62 or 63, latest anyway, and encounter no problems working still with jaws2018.
Hope this helps,

Re: Is there a version of firefox that currently works with Jaws
OK, I just checked for updates, and there are none. I'm still at 60.3.4, and nowhere is ESR mentioned.

Re: JAWS 2018.1808.10 Reports Incorrect File Count in File Explorer
Steve,
That's the way it has been ever since I was forced to switch to JAWS from Window-Eyes. You can't get an accurate count.
I have a folder which has over 200 files in it and JAWS always says

Try doing a control tab between the list of msgs and the folders,
And vice versa, control shift tab also does likewise;

Re: How do I get Outlook 2016 to stop reading a message's subject line when I open it?
This is a bug in Jaws 2019, I have already submitted feedback about
this particularly annoying behavior.

I just reported it to support. Is that the same as reporting this problem to them so that it gets into their cue for bug fixes?
