Re: copy and paste between two placemarkers in virtual window
To add to this explanation, Once you hit the Insert Space, then M, that selects the text and you can then hit Control C to copy it.

Everyone can ignore this reply. I'm doing filter testing with Google and want to pass this through a pre-existing one.

Re: Making JAWS announce shortcut sequences
Mario,
Thanks for the location specifics. JAWS settings (any screen reader settings) are a real swamp, but they are so by necessity. A screen reader has to be uber customizable.

Re: Navigating Favorites With Chrome
Google Chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 for me too.
The alt F thing works for me, but even then it’s just not as fluid to get to the bookmarks in Chrome as with Firefox. It may be a simple thing, but

Re: Making JAWS load faster
I have my JAWS load up at the log in screen. I don’t understand this urgency for JAWS to load up. Is it the old, I want it now! Mentality? Try and use a refurbished Windows 7, upgraded to 10

Re: Navigating Favorites With Chrome
Hi, Sieghard. Perhaps you have Chrome set to Full-Screen Mode. If I set any browser to Full-Screen Mode, the menus are hidden, and if I press ALT plus anything, the menus don’t come up.

It could also matter what version of Chrome you're running as well. I'm using version 69.0.3497.100 under Windows 10.

Yes, your observations match mine, as well. Are you on a Windows 7 platform, or Windows 7? I'm on Windows 7.

Very strange why this is inconsistent, but Alt+F does nothing for me and it doesn’t matter if I press and hold Alt and press F which is what Alt+F usually means or if I press Alt and let go and then

In order for those key strokes to be spoken, you have to have 'access keys' set to all, whether you wanta hear them in other situations or not.

Also, remember that all the sites you visit, the most recent ones are on your Chrome home page. This often negates the need for bookmarks.

Re: Making JAWS load faster
Hi,
Personally, I’d just get an SSD drive in your computer, rather than worrying about the load order. It will be changed with every JAWS update.

Hi,
To be honest, I think Reaper is a better and more accessible multi track editor. Although it’s not free, it’s not expensive.
