Or you can press Control-Spacebar to deselect the current file and then read the status bar with Insert-NumPad 3. I think the status bar will show the true count even if a file is selected. It will

Running JAWS 2019, list view doesn't give me a count at all when pressing Insert-tab or Insert-up arrow.

c-cleaner was handy for a few limited situations. I'd never run it just for the heck of it, though. Registries generally never get enough junk in them that cleaning would make a noticeable

this will give you a search box to search the entire bookmark list. but with this i have to turn off the virtual pc cursor first or firefox will hang for about 2

what shortcut key are you useing to open the list?
use control i or control b. then you will get the entire bookmark list and you can use the search box to find your bookmarks.

I've got the same issue, and was amazed that there were bookmarks

I did some testing about this problem today, and it seems that if your view is set to Details, that's where the problem rears its ugly head. List view appears to work correctly.

If you do a control-A and select all, you will be told how many files are selected and it will be the correct number.
