Re: jaws controls when not in systray?
Stan:
Press ALT+TAB, until JAWS announces the JAWS window, then, release both keys.
Press ALT+F, to open the JAWS Context Menu.
JAWS will say, "Options Submenu". Press RIGHT ARROW, to open it.

Hi, Stan. What happens if, when you are in the window that says,
JAWS Home use
you press ALT plus O for Options,
ALT plus L for Language,
ALT plus U for Utilities,
ALT plus H for Help?

jaws controls when not in systray?
Listers: Help! I decided to not run Jaws in the systray to see if some problems would go away. Now I do have j 2021 running but no control over it. I could not put jaws back in systray if I wanted

Hi Loy,
This is what the lady is wondering, why the Run dialogue isn't working. She knows she can open a browser but, that's not answering the question.
Stay safe and take care. Mike.

Hi Dave,
Even when you add all the http, https or anything else and hit enter nothing happens. Other searches work just fine, just not URL's.

Yeah, seems worth a shot. If it works, then there’s probably some configuration option in eset that can be changed to let these things through.

If it was saying something like file not found, be sure they used http:// and if it is a secure site, https:// and as Glen said, some sites don’t use the www. Just the http:// or https:// part.
