If you are in the address bar and hit alt, nothing happens, but if you are in web content it works fine. At least that is how it is here.

Am i assuming that to get to the main chrome menu, that you hit alt f?
Hitting alt by itself doesn't seem to go anywhere.

1. Yes, pressing ctrl-T does open a new tab in Chrome.
2. To get to your bookmarks, open the Chrome menu. There are several ways to do this but I usually press alt-F, just as if you were opening

That has happened to me recently as well. I just go back and do it again. Usually, the second try works. Not sure what’s happening.
