Unless something has changed very recently, JAWS runs only under Windows, and full-fledged Windows (as opposed to the now defunct Windows Mobile).

					Some like all that fluff that you get with the regular website.  I also am now using edge as my web browser to access Facebook with JAWS 21.  I bounced around between Firefox and Google for a while because one would not read out info or would skip over info such as the groups I'm on. So, perhaps you could use the link provided by Anne and use Edge as your browser.  It works so well now, I don't need to use another.

					It depends on what sort of functionality you want with facebook.
Mbasic.facebook.com is a very neutered version of facebook with minimal use
of the features of the platform. That's actually ok with me. But it's really
up to you. The standard site is perfectly usable with screen-readers, but it
can be a bit overwhelming, with a lot of dynamic content and so on.

					When  I phone Vispero the rep in eastern Canada was suggested, as mentioned, I did not like their hand in my pocket attitude.  I got my SMA updated from Ryan and now have JAWS 21 with I believe 3 upgrades.

If you mean a scanned copy of your actual signature, yes, it's possible.

It's not the simplest thing in the world to do, at least if you want that signature positioned such that it looks like you've "signed on the dotted or solid line." If the document into which it is to be inserted has any sort of a colored background then you also need to be certain that the image file that has the signature in it has been processed such that the background has been changed to transparent, and the only opaque part is the signature itself.

If the document in question is something you'll be using over and over again, I'd strongly suggest creating a MS-Word document template with the signature already inserted in the template. The signature will preferably reside on its own page if you expect that the actual data in the document could change such that the dotted-solid line on which the signature is positioned might be bumped as the data expands.

It is far easier to get sighted assistance when the time comes to actually insert the image of the signature in to the document. There is really no way to adjust it as necessary, both as far as size and position in the document go, without being able to see it.

On rare occasions I have found this scenario. Most likely the coding on the web site and might try another browser. I no longer use Internet Explorer but keep it around because in these cases I have found better and more accurate response. Could also be a JAWS issue but not likely.

However, if you start the subscription all you ever have to worry is paying your $90 a year, not sure if you can also pay monthly since I'm in Canada where the subscription based model is not yet offered.

I wonder if this happens after you've been working with JAWS for a while. Ever since installing JAWS 2021, I've experienced problems like this, which I didn't with JAWS 2020. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you're using 2018. My solution has been to safe the draft of the email, assuming I've started it, and then to close and reopen JAWS. Obviously, a workaround, but perhaps you could try and see if it does the job until you're able to upgrade.

As you clearly realize, you'd be advised to upgrade your JAWS when you can afford to.

Note that Edge isn't an email program; it's a browser. Can you tell which email program you're actually using?

I don't know if there's any way to fix these issues (other then upgrading which isn't happening right now), but I really hope there is. Anyway, when I type in an edit field (or whatever they called) in Edge I can't go back and read what I've written and if I erase a character Jaws just says blank so I don't know what I've erased. Also after I've input my email in a site it saves it, and even when I try and type a new email it just fills in the box with my email so when I type a new email address it sticks my email in there. So, are there any settings within either Edge or Jaws that I can change to fix any of these problems? If there's a setting that can be changed so that Edge never saves my email and I have to type in my email address everytime I log in or do anything on any site, I don't care, it's a small price to pay. I'm using Jaws 2018, the latest Edge, and Windows 10 version 1909. I really hope that there's something I can do to fix these issues, as they're driving me crazy. If you have JAWS set to run from the system tray, Insert J will bring up

I will say that these are the commands for the Windows context menu that
work with or without a screen Reader

There is no actual "Jaws context menu" that I know of, just the Windows
context menu. Also gotten to with a right click of a mouse. .
