Re: One drive

Hi,
Just following on from this, after pressing Alt and enter to bring up the properties window, as a quicker way of getting the file size, rather than using the jaws key and B to read all, instead, if you press Alt, jaws key and W, it virtualises the properties window so you can then use the arrow keys to navigate and can very quickly access the file size information , by just pressing the down arrow a couple of times to get to the file size information. When finished press escape to exit virtualisation, and then escape again to exit the properties window as usual. Hope this might help anyone who didn’t already know the key stroke for this, definitely makes getting folder size quicker and easier.

As I think I said yesterday, the alt enter command does not seem to give the folder size, at least on my Windows 10 computer here.
It gives other information like you would expect, but not the file size, number of files and folders, etc..
I find this strange, because it seems to work well for other drives.

If using JAWS,and with your focus on the OneDrive folder, or for that matter any folder you want this information for, press Alt Enter for Properties and then press Insert B and you will evntually hear the size of the folder. |

I'm trying to find my calendars under the calendars tab, I'm trying to subscribe my google calendar to Outlook. I have instructions, but I just can't get to the my calendars tab/button. I can get to my calendars, but I can’t get to the settings for them, only the general calendar settings. I can send the link for the instructions if that would help.

Re: One Note accessibility?
Over time there has been plenty of discussion of OneNote's accessibility, and the consensus is that it is accessible.
There are probably many tutorials out there that are short and free, and a web search on [OneNote +JAWS] turns them up. Hartgen Consultancy also offers a 3-hour audio tutorial for a bit over $60 US, available on their page: https://www.hartgen.org/training -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 20H2, Build 19042 It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not. ~ André Gide |

Buyer Beware is all I can say. But each eBay listing will say what condition the item is in, e.g. New, Used like New etc., and there should also be information regarding return policy and insurance.

What are the safe guards for me though if the item is defective? I’m not trying to be a protagonist, I just don’t won’t to be stuck with junk. There are lots of cases where ones have taken the money and ran.

If you go to eBay.ca you don't have any of these issues, it's just a straight forward online purchase just as from any other place such as Amazon, Best Buy etc.

For a laugh I enquired about office 2019 and it directed me to E-bay. It was an adventure unto itself because I had to tell it to ship to and from Canada. The hardest part was having to tell it I needed the currency in CAD not British pounds. If I registered would it always be this much trouble?

Bonanza.com is the place to go. It is reliable and like Amazon, will intervene with its sellers if there is any delay. I bought Office 2013 Pro for $35 just last month. It has the lowest prices I see anywhere on used software.

Jeff Lukacsena: wanting to know if people would like to join a Salesforce and Technology Roundtable
Jeff Lukacsena <jlukacsena@...>
Hello List, I just sent this message to about 5-6 people who previously posted questions regarding the use and accessibility of Salesforce.
My name is Jeff Lukacsena. I was a student in the Bosma Enterprises Salesforce admin class this past summer. After our summer class ended in November of 2020, many of us attended the Roundtable. Several participants, said that they would like to continue the roundtable, so I put this proposed day, time and schedule together for us to meet for at least a half hour. We may go longer, but since everyone is busy I thought starting with 30 minutes would be best. I just wanted to send out a quick reminder of our Salesforce and tech roundtable. It will take place on the second and fourth Friday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Eastern. Here are the dates for April, May and June. Friday April 9 Friday April 23 Friday May 14 Friday May 28 Friday, June 11 Friday, June 25 Join here: BosmaForce Classroom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84724045991?pwd=eStrcXhQUG9QbkU2V0FFYWRpci8wdz09 You can connect with me directly at jlukacsena@... Hi. There is no vpn client more accessible then Open vpn. What
I'd suggest is that you download the .OVPN files from your express
vpn or any other vpn account you are holding, download open vpn,
put those files in the appropriate folder, then use Open vpn to
access your vpn networks. Open Vpn is free and is both accessible
with Jaws and NVDA. I could write up a short tutorial on how to
use open vpn over the weekend if there is a demand. Cheers! On 17/4/2021 6:44 am, leonard morris
