Hi, Kirsten.

I tried the RTF option yesterday, and, although the text was there and in the correct order as you suggest, Jaws kept reading heading information at the beginning of just about every line, which made reading and understanding the text very difficult. Tom from Michigan

Yes. AS I remember someone on this list had posted some media center

Ben Humphreys <brh@...>
To the best of my recollection, Eudora supported three modes of operation: a slightly crippled light mode, a more functional sponsored mode with ads, and a full mode which cost money but was free of ads and contained all functionality.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
To enable full mode, click "Payment and registration" on the Help menu and from there you can enter a registration code to unlock the full mode. When Qualcom discontinued Eudora development, they released a generic registration code, provided below, to unlock full mode without payment. Ben

It's a valid JAWS question because much of the functionality of the calculator is locked away behind mouse clickable buttons on the display. Fortunately, there are about 90 keyboard shortcuts available to overcome this problem.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
See the following article on how to locate these keyboard shortcuts http://superuser.com/questions/274264/windows-calculator-shortcut-keys Briefly, hitF1, tab to Shortcut Keys and hit Enter, then tab around until you get to the windows calculator shortcut keys, which contains a table of 2 columns by 90 rows, at least in Windows 7 help. I just want you to no, Working in safe mode, with MSOutlook, is way different then working in safe mode, from boot up. MSOutlook, will ask you, if you want to work in safe mode, especially, if there has been an issue with the outlook files. Generally, if you say yes to work in safe mode, outlook will perform correctly. However, if you close outlook, and restart the program, outlook will Go back to working correctly. However, working in safe mode from boot up, is way different, you have no speech, no drivers are loaded.

If you open the powerpoint and then go to the save dialog box, tab to the

type/format box and arrow down you should be able to save it as an RTF doc which will give you all the text from all the slides in the right order. Before I discovered this I used to have to copy and paste the text out of the slides, but this is much quicker. I use 2007 so if that is what you have it definitely works.

If you have an Iphone I can really recommend Remote Potato. It allows you to now only control your Media Centre but also watch all your Recorded TV and other media from your PC actually on your iphone anywhere in the world. Works amazingly well and the developer has bent over backwards to accommodate accessibility improvements which I've suggested. The app now plays the audio described tracks as well so I now have access to audio described TV recordings which is great. I've paired that up with an FM transmitter for my Iphone and now I have good sounding TV where ever there is a radio or I use headphones.

The MC Buddy, first converts the program you have recorded then removes the adds out. So you cant watch it add free strait away, you need to wait for the MC buddy to do its job. Normally only an hour or so after the program has been recorded. Hope this helps Best wishes.
