Some time ago someone recommended Talking desktop clock. I think it will do what you want. Only, I don't recall where I found it, hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.

I do not know what it is called exactly but we have these little small carry oven timers.
No access but you can memorize where the buttons are and keep on starting it at the time you set it up for. It beeps like crazy until you go and hit stop. And it is ready to start again if you hit the start button. Sometimes I use it myself just to keep myself from getting lost in space and losing track of time. Like to set for every 30 minutes or so. Flat little things about the size of a credit card. They have a belt clip on them. Pretty handy. At kitchen stores I think is where my wife got it. HTH Rik

Timer Program that works with JAWS
Marquette, Ed <Ed.Marquette@...>
Just came back from my physical therapist who has assigned me certain exercises. I also need to check my posture every 15 minutes. I could set Outlook reminders, but I would have to dismiss them, and that is a pain.
I'm just looking for something that will ring a little bell or, even better, prompt JAWS to say, "Remember to sit up straight and ..." I guess I need my 5th grade teacher back. Seriously, has anyone heard of such a program? One of my associates has a timer type program, but it is totally graphical for some reason, and JAWS won't read anything. Any help would be appreciated. I did not download an update to Libronix so I know it's not that. I did update Vista and downloaded IE9 but don't know why that would affect Libronix. I have screen echo set to "all". When I move the Jaws cursor across a highlighted item Libronix pops up the Bible reference, footnote, etc. associated with the highlighted text. Jaws reads the popped up information. Beginning yesterday, the popup window is appearing in the middle of the screen instead of the bottom and Jaws isn't reading it even though screen echo is still set to "all". Does anyone who uses Libronix know what setting I've unwittingly changed? Re: Tab Margins Resetting Them
Marquette, Ed <Ed.Marquette@...>
Well, tabs and margins, so far as I know, are set differently.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
If you are talking about top, bottom, left, and right margins, go to File and then Page layout. You can set all 4 margins there. For tabs, go to Format and then Paragraph. There are two tabs. Pick the one that says indents and line spacing. Tab over (and this takes several tabs) past line spacing. You will then come to a tabs dialog box. There is where you adjust your tabs.
