From Mack i use a desktop computer and i am always logged in to next door. tell your wife to subscribe to the digest version, she will have an easier time of it. just browse the posts, select the one she wants to read, she will be taken online, hit skip to main content. there you go. it's not the best website, but it is workable. started.

How to post to Nextdoor via the desktop
website
1. Log in to
Nextdoor. 2. Click on the field that reads "Post a message, event,
poll or alert to your neighborhood."
Find and select the post toolbar on your Nextdoor dashboard. 3. Click on the type of post that best corresponds to
what you're trying to post, whether that be a message, event, poll, or urgent
alert. For the purposes
of this guide, we are using the message type of post. You can select from four post types on Nextdoor. 4. Click on "Choose a category." From the list that
appears, click on the category that best corresponds to the topic of your
post.
Categories help ensure your post reaches the right audience. 5. Type in a subject and the text of your message. When
you're done, click "Visible to" and click on the option that best represents how
visible or private
you want your post to be. Enter a post subject and your message in their respective boxes. 6. If you want to add a photo or video to your post,
click on "Add photo or video" and select the image or clip you want to
attach.
7. When you are finished composing your post, click on
the green "Post" button to publish it.

I have used both of these headsets. The microphones are not so sensitive as to pick up ambient sound. I have my microphone sensitivity in Zoom set to 100% with minimal noise suppression. Honestly, for me, the headset from A.T. guys has a microphone which gives my voice a louder volume than the one from Plantronics.
Why is your volume set as high as 80%? I mean, is your screen reader talking really loudly?

Maybe I am confusing the issue here, but I often see these when they contain some sort of image with text in it. Although it says “click this link to see this email in your browser”, I find that even clicking and opening the link within the browser still does not give me access to the imaged text within the link.

Actually, there are emails (typically newsletters or the like) which, in the body, have an explicit link which a person can activate the view the email as a web page. Then there are those emails which you would like to view as a web page which do not contain such a link but for which there is something on the Info bar which advises you to click there if you want to display the email as a web page. There are also emails that are coded in the HTML format but for which there is no explicit way to display the email in a web page. Each type requires a difference response from the nonvisual user.
The most extreme circumstance in which I view an email as a web page often requires me to save the message as an HTML file and then to open the saved file in my favorite browser.
As with everything else these days, there is more than one way to accomplish a specific task, and no one way is completely right or completely wrong. The solution you choose depends n your specific situation, your knowledge, and your confidence/proficiency with the technology you are using.

There doesn't even seem to be a link when perusing the message. So there seems to be no way to actually look at the prompt to click here. I'm sure that, as a sighted person, there is some place that this prompt appears, but I know of no way of focusing on the prompt, or of finding the link that allows one to click and view the message in the browser.

Hi, Brian. The difference between the type of message which you sent to me, and the standard prompt that is received by JAWS as a screen reader is,
In the message you sent to me, the prompt does actually consist of a link. When the prompt is spoken by JAWS, it is actually coming from Outlook as an email client, and is more like a notification in an Info Bar. The prompt to view the email in the browser isn't even part of the email message, only a notification by Outlook as the email client.

Might I ask what happens if you gain focus on that "click here" link and activate it? This makes sense. However, sometimes developers produce scripts that work with more than one function. For example, Brian Hartung's Team script also works with Outlook. So unless you are running skype and zoom at the same time, the skype scripts would not affect anything zoom, as they would not even be invoked at any time.
