Hi,

I will write my answers to your questions right beneath you question so please make sure to read the whole mail:

Does anyone know if there are any MP3 media  files or tutorials that I would  be able too download, that could teach me   information on how too make Jaws 2022,  work with word office 365?

I don't know such a tutorial but I try to answer your questions here.

For instance, is their a way that I could enable jaws 2022  too set up the classic view for word,   like in earlier versions of  word, without using the ribbons  menu?

There is no way to use classic menus in word. Maybe there are some add-ons out there to solve this issue but Microsoft did remove the classic menu and exchanged it with the ribbon interface.

Other examples that I very much want too learn,  is how do  I save a document in word, and then once having saved a document, how would I be able too add additional information in that same document?

You can save the document by pressing the keystroke Ctrl+S. If your document has no name a dialogue appears and prompts you to give a name to the document. Instead of pressing this keystroke you can use the Alt-key to open the file menu. Go down with the arrow keys to find the command "save" or "save as".

Also, how would I be able too put a saved document into my documents folder, and not loose that document?

If you do as described above you can select a folder in this dialog.

Another great thing to save a document in a folder is this: open file explorer and go to the folder you want to save your document. Press the context menu key. A menu appears in which you can select the item "new" and then "Word document". After this Word creates an empty document in the folder you are in and the rename command is active so you can give the file a new name. Open this file by pressing the enter key and write there as you want.

Next, I need too learn how too save a document as an attachment, and send it later as an email.

Open file manager and go to the document you want to send. Open the context menu again and select "Send as..". Then there's another command to select. Because I'm using a non English version of JAWS I can't say the name exactly but maybe it's something like "Mail" or "Mail Attachment" or "Attachment".

I hope this helps you. Good luck in trying out
Udo

Cohn, Jonathan

Most of the Freedom Scientific tutorials are on their Training youtube page.
This one is probably a good starting point:
If you still don't like the ribbons, JAWS has a setting to virtualize the ribbons into a menu style. I believe there is a checkbox to turn this on in the startup wizard, or you can find it by opening settings center (insert+6) followed by control+shift+d to open the default settings and then search for ribbon.

control+S will save a document in pretty much any application in Windows.
Also, Freedom Scientific has a training podcast which includes:
Word, Tips and Tricks from Power Users

Madison,
I wonder, and this is pure speculation, if what the original suggestion was referencing to do is to be sure that the email you are logging into Office 365 with is also the one you are using as the outlook email address. For example, if I need to log into the Microsoft store, I am using a particular email address. In my case, it's an old MNS email account that has been converted to Outlook com, but is still my primary email account. That is, I can check this email via outlook.live.com and it's also my Microsoft store login. The MSN account I'm using to write this message is a secondary account and it not one I would use for an office subscription. When your dad set you as a user on the family plan, I presume he entered some sort of email or such that connects you to the family account. If I were to buy an Office 365 subscription, I'd be using one of my MSN email addresses as my login credentials. I'm really not sure what that would matter, but it's a guess.

I can't recall if you'd talked to Microsoft Accessibility yet on this to see if they can help you figure it out.

Robin

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there's a way for me to find out if my email accounts
are
included when my dad pays for Office 365? I'm asking because when I was
asking
about my Outlook.com account issue someone asked if I have a subscription to
Office 365 or if I'm using a free Outlook.com account; if I'm using a free
account then subscribing might solve my issue so I'd really like to be able
to
find out. Really hope someone can help me!! Using latest versions of Jaws,
Office 365 and Windows 10. Thanks Madison

Hi, Madison. Those accounts would need to be payed for separately from Office
365. Email accounts are usually paid for when you buy your Internet service.
If
your email account is through a company other than your Internet provider, you
would need to inquire if those accounts are free accounts like gmail, or if you
need to pay for them. If they need to be payed for, you would need to find out
how to pay for them.

So, what does this mean for the 3 email accounts that I access using Outlook?

Outlook is definitely included with Office 365. And by Outlook, I mean the
program that you run on the computer, not an Outlook email account.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there's a way for me to find out if my email accounts are
included when my dad pays for Office 365? I'm asking because when I was asking
about my Outlook.com account issue someone asked if I have a subscription to
Office 365 or if I'm using a free Outlook.com account; if I'm using a free
account then subscribing might solve my issue so I'd really like to be able to
find out. Really hope someone can help me!! Using latest versions of Jaws,
Office 365 and Windows 10. Thanks Madison

Greetings:

There is no need to worry about Microsoft Exchange accounts. IMAP is the
very best protocol to use, and that is what you said you already have.

Once you install the Outlook program from Office 365 on to a computer, you
can configure it to point to any one or all of the three accounts.

Okay, how do I check this? What's the difference between a Microsofft
Exchange
account and IMAP (which is what I believe all 3 of my accounts are now)?

Hi, Madison. Outlook.com accounts are free, but you need to make sure that
your
Outlook.com account is set up correctly through Office 365. It may need to
be
set up as a Microsoft Exchange account.
