Any help I can maybe get with this would be so very much appreciated! Much, much thanks in advance for any possible help with this!

I have tried that. Narrator did come on, but it did not indicate that there was a "sort," button, yet my niece tells me it does pop up if you have "all episodes," selected.

Do a Windows Control Enter and Narrator should come on. If you do the same keystroke Narrator will shut off.

Sometimes Narrator sees buttons that JAWS doesn't. Also NVDA sometimes does. Worth a try.

I am not sure I can authoritively help as I avoid these subscriptin services but I do notice that if you go into a normal Amazon search as if you were looking to purchase an album or a track, there are options to play the music from within the search results if you have rights to it.

This is certainly true for music available on Amazon Prime.

The few times I have used this it seems reasonably accessible with a straightforward track list and you do not seem to be bombarded with so called suggestions at the top of the page at least.

I have however strictly avoided installing any Amazon apps as I find that they have pretty disgusting accessibility over the years. If you have installed any of these you might have to uninstall to get the same experience as me.

Hi all,
I upgraded to Jaws 2021 almost 2 weeks ago now and I have a problem that I've noticed. When I go to my favourites list in Edge, or when I go into contacts in Outlook, or start a new message in Outlook type a letter and then do ctrl k to bring up a list of addresses starting with that letter, Jaws will only read a few items and then stop speaking. When this happens in favourites I have to alt tab to something else and then alt tab back and then Jaws will start reading again, but then stops speaking again after reading a few more items. When this happens in Outlook I have to go to the bottom of the list of addresses starting with that letter or the end of my contacts and then arrow up and Jaws will read a few more and then stop speaking again. Now when I upgraded I was asked if I wanted to import settings or something like that and I said yes, though I don't recall having any settings set that have anything to do with this. So I'm wondering, is this an issue with Jaws 2021, or is there some setting or something that I can change so that Jaws will stop doing this? I'm just glad that my Braille display works when this happens. Now, I know some of you might suggest switching to an earlier version of Jaws, but I do these things on a daily basis, and besides I don't have any earlier versions of Jaws on this computer as I uninstalled 2018 after I upgraded. Running Jaws 2021, Outlook 2013, the latest Edge and Windows 10 2004. Thanks for any help/suggestions anyone can provide!!!!!

Hi all,
I upgraded to Jaws 2021 almost 2 weeks ago now and I have a problem that I've noticed.

So how do I report this issue? Can I still do so even though I live in Canada? I
hope that anyone else who's experiencing this will report it to them as well...

It won't get fixed if folks don't contact them directly.

I don't have so many people in my contacts that I need this feature, but if you

Hi.

Here's the basic steps to get WI-FI going:

Hit WINDOWS+B to get to the SYS Tray.

ARROW until you find something about networks are available, or no connection to network. Since I'm connected, it reports the network I'm connected to. Hit the applications key, or SHIFT+F10 should do it.

Select Open Internet Settings.

TAB until you find SHOW AVAILABLE NETWORKS.

You'll now find the networks you can connect to. Locate your network, and press ENTER.

The rest is easy to do. Just follow the prompts.

If you have any questions, send them on.

Hank,
If using Windows 10 :
Go to "Settings"
Tab to "Network & Internet"
Tab to "Wi-Fi"
Tab to "Available Connections "
There you will need to select your router and enter information.

This section is accessible with JAWS.

Dan
PS You may have a shortcut to the Netowrk connections / wi fi in your
notification area.

You simply step through the standard setup under Settings, Network & Internet, WiFi Pane.  You'll probably activate the Show Available Networks link, choose the WiFi network you wish to connect to from that list, and you'll be prompted to enter the password/key for that WiFi network.

You can also go directly through the system tray.  WinKey+B, right arrow until you hit the item for Network & Internet access (and I cannot tell you exactly how that will be announced as it depends on whether you've got it in the overflow area or on the main system tray display and what you are, or are not, currently connected to), activating it, then down arrowing to the WiFi network you wish to connect to.  Activate that item and enter the necessary password/key information for the WiFi network and the checkbox for Connect automatically should be set as you see fit.

Sometimes Narrator sees buttons that JAWS doesn't. Also NVDA sometimes
does. Worth a try.

Great, thanks so much! I think this helped with outlook. Maybe I am saying it wrong for the tool bar. I think I meant the quick access to a bar that is at the upper left of all windows when you are in windows navigation. How do I get there with keystrokes please? Thank you!

Hi, Bonnie. Try,

1. Open Outlook.
2. Press ALT plus F, followed by T for Options.
3. Press CONTROL plus TAB until you hear Trust Center.
4. Now, TAB until you hear Trust Center Settings, and press ENTER.
5. Arrow up and down until you hear Automatic Download.
6. Now, TAB until you hear something like,

Don’t download pictures automatically in standard HTML e-mail messages or RSS items, check box checked

7. Uncheck this box with Space Bar.
8. TAB to OK, and press ENTER.

Now you should be able to download pictures.

To get to the Quick Action bar, press WINDOWS key plus A, then TAB through the options.

I know I should know this, but what are the keystrokes to get to the message and an email about giving permission to download pictures? I use Outlook as part of office 365, and I don’t remember how to quickly give it permission.

Also, a general windows question, can someone remind me of the keystrokes to get to the quick action toolbar?
