How To Get Rid Of Get Windows 10 Message
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
Yesterday, I ran malware bytes on my home Windows 7 PC, and ever since, I receive the “get windows 10” message every few minutes or so. I can exit out of the message using alt F4, but the message re-appears again soon thereafter.
How can I get rid of this message?
Personally, I find it not only annoying, but intrusive!
I do plan to upgrade to Windows 10 at some point, and don’t need to be constantly reminded of its availability!
Sorry for the little rant there, but this is really aggravating!

You've done a pretty thorough job listing the various methods for handling attachments with jaws. My go to method for accessing attachments sent to me is the shift + tab method as you describe. However as many of us know, this method does not always produce results. When I find nothing after back tabbing, I use the open all attachments option inn the file tab. It entails some extra steps since you then have to go to wherever the attachments have been saved to view them, but it works for me 99% of the time. As for sending multiple attachments, I find the copy and paste most reliable. Just be sure your cursor is in the correct part of the message before you attempt to paste your second, third etc. attachments. I hope this helpful. Kimber Sent from Kimber's iPhone

Secure Shell (ssh) client for MS-Windows and JAWS
Jason White
Hello JAWS users,
I'm just wondering whether there is an ssh client for Microsoft Windows that is very accessible with JAWS. I spend most of my time on Linux and OS X systems; it would be useful to be able to access them occasionally when I'm on a Windows machine. I'm interested in both ssh and scp, and to be able to use them from the command line. Advice welcome.

Re: facebook
Tusing <ptusing@...>
Hi,
You go to default settings in JAWS 16or 17 and arrow to the Second choice which is Html. Find miscellaneous and Arrow down to the last option (the 7th I think) Which begins with the word "reserve" and check it. Now if you do that, every website would enable special keystrokes created to work with that site. You can do that, but there is a better way. A much better way is to Invoke this only on the FaceBook sites as you only need this on Facebook. Do this by hitting Insert + v" and Type in the word reserve into the edit field. When you have the chance to check that option, You are permitting the use of special Keystrokes that JAWS users can use on a faceBook page. Once invoked, You can advance to the next Thread on FaceBook by hitting "j" on FaceBook. Without checking reserve option", You would be otherwise getting "jumpto line xx" The other command is "shift j" Which takes you to theprevious thread on a Facebook page. Now, is any one seriously actually making these keystrokes work? If so On which FaceBook page? Please share one pagewhere "j"and "shift j" work on FaceBook PLEASE.

accessible testing tools to work with jaws 17 and visual studio community 2015
Marvin Hunkin <startrekcafe@...>
Hi. Using jaws 17, and visual studio community 2015. Doing a diploma it course, but, wondering, tried Microsoft test server, but not very accessible. So, need to run automated tests for a subject, intro to object orientated programming c #, and using windows 10 64 bit pro. And now, was wondering, what more accessible testing tools, have you used to do automated testing for visual studio, c # projects. Any ideas. Doing this course from http://www.upskilled.edu.au, and waiting to see if my lectuer has a free copy of visual studio pro 2015 or ultimate. But in the mean time, tried googling, and trawling through about 10 or more pages as I write. So tapping your minds, any ideas. And also using http://www.pluralsite.com, which is part of upskilled, video training, but can read the transcript in the browser. If I click on a link, the video starts playing. More accessible then http://www.lynda.com, and they are redesigning the site for blind people. I am on the accessibility beta team, and will test with four browsers. So this will be a 12 month project, as they got purchased by http://www.linkedin.com. Any ideas, or any one in the same situation. Do not have a credit card, and now, using the free community visual studio 2015 32 bit, but no testing options, in the video, says to click on the solution for the test project, click on window, then click on test manager. Unless I need the pro version of visual studio. Any ideas. Marvin.

Re: Plantronics Voyager Legend B235-M Bluetooth Headset and JAWS

The H800 from Logitech is another one that is
decent. It has Bluetooth as well as another wireless mode that hooks up to a
tiny USB dongle that probably works better for the computer side. It has a
3-position switch, which is off, Bluetooth, and then computer. I think it is
still Bluetooth 2.1, even though I just got a new one for Christmas, and that
little dongle is compatible with versions of Windows going back to at least XP,
and it doesn't need extra software to get it working.
