Re: title no longer shows up in Calendar
Van Lant, Robin
I’m also on Outlook 2016. ‘ve looked around the settings and don’t particularly see anything that could allow this to happen. The best recommendation I have to start with is to go to the View ribbon while in the calendar and try clicking on the following two items: _ - Click the first button on the View ribbon, called Change View and select the “Calendar” button, which is the first one on my list of choices.

Hello,
I’m using Windows10 and Outlook 2016. For some reason any meeting that is on the calendar or just added, the subject doesn’t show up. It use to and I’m wondering if I made some change that eliminated the subject to show up. For emails I set it up to have the subject appear first. I don’t think would affect what is on the calendar. Any thoughts of what I could do to correct the problem?
Cheers,
Kevin

I had JAWS for Dos following the IBM screen reader. One day windows happened at Work and all JAWS would say was "Blank screen". We had JAWS for Windows 1.21, serial number 1600.

I don't know the version number, but my first version of JAWS was in 1996, which worked with Windows 3.1. Have a blessed day and don't work too hard. Kevin Minor and the amazing Jilly, Lexington, KY

I too tried out JAWS for DOS 2.31, but, in my job at the time, ASAP was a better fit.
Then, in 1999, or thereabouts, I had to switch to a Windows environment, so I began using JFW 3.2, with the Eloquence that sounded like he had a cold.
Yes, I am older, I actually started out with a TI 99/4A, though after it was already discontinued by TI.
That’s another story, though and not for this list.

Al, I don’t’ recall how calendar searches worked in past versions, but here is what I do in Outlook 2016. Go into the Calendar. Hit Control E to the Search edit box. Type your search term. If you have office sounds turned on, you’ll heard a little run of ascending tones as the search completes. Now, hit F6 until you hear JAWS say list view then arrow down through the options. I noticed in my text just now that it pulls in calendar related items, such as meeting invitation notices. In a home calendar this is likely fine, but certainly adds clutter to search results in a setting where you send meeting invitations to people.

Re: What is your first version of Jaws
ratshtron
hmmm, not quite as early as you, but my original
serial number was 2064 if I remember correctly, lol! 2.0 and I made a mistake on the windows version in my last message, it was windows 3.11 for workgroups not 3.1. I didn't get the opertunity of using jaws for dos till later because I had been using ASAP written by Larry Skuchan back in those days, lol! tried ASAW but that version didn't take off.
