The .ic file is already on my Outlook calendar.  When I initially activated the link to save to calendar, that was where it went.  I checked the Outlook calendar, and it was there.  My question is this.  The communion appointments are not shown on the respective dates.  When I go to the dates on which I have to serve, the dates are all blank.  Is this the way it is supposed to be, or am I doing something wrong?

Since I upgraded to windows10 1803 the spring version my key echo is working really really weird. If I'm in notepad, wordpad, or word the key echo works fine. However, if I'm surfing the internet doesn't matter which browser, internet explorer 11, chrome, or firefox the key echo gives gibberish. And random gibberish. However, if I flip over to notepad, word, it works correctly.

I asked vfo group they suggested running repair on jaws. so I did.

The repair process starts runs upto 70% and then gives the following error.

jaws the repair has failed
the setup has failed to process the "fsWow64Proxy" component restart
the computer and re-run the setup program

error code:
80070666

Note: I've rebooted and re ran the repair process several times.
Have written vfo support, but anyone got an idea what this means etc?


Cause you all know how long it takes vfo support to get back to a person.

The computer has a Realtek hd audio card. Use to work fine in windows10 1709 version. My restore point didn't work so can not roll back.

The JAWS ducking problem is a Skype setting I'm sure.

Unfortunately, I don't think JAWS knows about the new Skype version 8, aka Skype UWP,but if you get Doug Lee's scripts for Skype UWP from http://www.dlee.org/skype/uwp, there's probably a JAWS help screen in there.

When someone calls me on Skype Jaws volume drops so you cant here jaws.

 

Does anybody knowwhat might causing that.

 

I have another question about Jaws.

 

When you press the Jaws key and the spacebar is there any to bring up help so you can find out some commands?

Hi, Nino. Try one of the following to keep Windows from reducing volume during Skype calls.

Windows 10 Automatically Reduces System Volume for Games & PC Calls

While you are using your PC to place or receive calls or while you are playing games which use PC calls feature, Windows automatically reduces the system volume without even asking you.

Actually its a new feature which was introduced in Windows 7 which can be disabled using the following simple steps:

1. Open "Sound" applet from Control Panel.

Or right-click on Speaker icon present in system tray and select "Playback devices" or "Recording devices" or "Sounds" option.

2. Now go to "Communications" tab and check the option "Do nothing" and Apply it.

3. That's it. Now Windows will no longer reduce the system volume.

Second option:

Press JAWS key plus SPACE BAR, then the letter D as in dog. If JAWS says Ducking other audio, this was not the problem. Repeat the steps,

Press JAWS key plus SPACE BAR, then the letter D as in dog.

JAWS should say, Do not duck other audio.

This is where the setting should stay in order that JAWS does not reduce system volume.

Ann,     You are absolutely correct. In the case of the client for whom those instructions were created, he had fine motor issues that made three-key shortcuts hellishly difficult for him to execute. He also never seemed to "get" that you need to figure out, in general, which hand you'll use to hit two of the three and which hand you'll use to hit the third.      As a side note, and for complete clarity, you must be sitting in the row (yes, row) that you want to designate as the column titles row before hitting the shortcut and you must be sitting in the column that you want (yes, column) to designate as the row titles before using the respective 3-key shortcuts.--
