There was an Itunes script called Blind Tunes but the website https://doitblind.com/ where this used to be found no longer has it. I doubt the old Blind Tunes scripts would work with the newest Itunes. Wish something could make Itunes more user friendly on Windows.

Artificial benchmarks mean nothing in the real world... How a app performs on your system is what matters. My connection is 100MBs and IE is not slow in general. there are of course times when the site or internet is slow for a certain website but in general I don't see much difference in my web experience. IE will crash more than Chrome but that is a coding issue IE has with modern sites. MS is still adding support to IE so it is still viable when Chromium Edge doesn't do what I need.

I remember back in the day there was an app, or jaws script that allowed us to work with iTunes. Does this script still exist, and where can I find it? It feels like the latest version of iTunes isn't real accessible. It's accessible as far as reading everything goes, but the layout interface needs some work. Thanks in advance |

Hi Kevin. Have you tried to remove the dongle Bluetooth device from the computer through the device manager? I wonder if it is showing up there? Also, have you installed the latest Windows updates? That may help you as well.

I agree that this process of pairing devices in Windows 10 SHOULD be simple enough, but it isn’t working, which is why I installed the software drivers for the dongle. I’m using the latest version of both JAWS and Windows 10, and I’m doing what was working before. I hit INSERT+I to get into settings, then I search for Blue until the Bluetooth settings appear. I then hit that. Now, here’s where the problem is. Shouldn’t there be an option where you can turn Bluetooth on and off? Well, it was there in Windows for me with the dongle, but it’s not there anymore. I do know the dongle works, and I can pair it with my iPhone through the software for the CSR dongle. I think that what I need to do is somehow get Windows to think the dongle is totally gone, unplug it, plug it back in, and then let Windows reload the native drivers it has. The instructions for the dongle indicate this should work, and indeed it did before, but it isn’t working now. What in the world do I do? I called up Microsoft Disability about this twice. One time we got it working, but when it failed again, we couldn’t get it working, and the problem was supposedly escalated, but I haven’t heard from them about it. Anybody know what I can do to fix this, short of either reformatting the drive and installing Windows again, but this old laptop has seen its better days, so I’m hoping to avoid that. It’s either that, or I throw the whole thing through what the OS is named for, but then I couldn’t use it with the Focus, so I don’t think that’s a good idea either. I’m sure the solution is really simple, but I just don’t know what it is.

I now have this nice piece of software with the CSR dongle, but I’m not quite sure what to do from here. My question is, what kind of a device is the Focus? I have several options to choose from, such as a phone and headphones, but they’re not what I want. I have three choices to select from, but I don’t know which one to use. They are: Keyboard, Computer, and All. Now, just which one do I use? I’d try Keyboard, but I don’t know if that’s good enough, because JAWS sends data to the display to read. I think Computer is overkill, so I don’t think it’s that one either. All might be what I want, but I’m not really familiar with using Bluetooth. Can someone give me some help? The truth is you need multiple browsers because each will work in a situation where the others wont. the new Chromium based Edge is pretty good. I found that Jaws doesn't say "blank" when I open a web page with krome after I went into Chrome settings and turned on the accessibility features. Jaws also lags sometimes when I switch windows then return to Chrome. However, it resumes working when I press f5 to refresh the screen. Maximising the screen doesn't help. Hope this helps. This happens to me frequently. If I go out of J19 and use NVDA to get to the site, then go back to J19, everything is fine after that. Pain in the neck and elsewhere. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to be an annoyance.

Have you unloaded and re-loaded Jaws or, if that doesn't help, do a reboot of the computer and see if that makes a difference on the same website.

This Logitech G613 “Lightspeed” wireless mechanical gaming keyboard can connect to iOS via Bluetooth and to a PC using the supplied USB receiver which then let’s you take advantage of the “Lightspeed” 1 millisecond delay which is pretty impressive (if you connect to a PC with Bluetooth this does not apply and while it’s probably still just as good as any other Bluetooth keyboard, it sort of makes sense to make the most of this keyboard’s features). I still use my trusty Logitech K780 at home where I have it connected to my laptop via Bluetooth as well as to my iPhone and Apple TV, but I bought the G613 for my main PC at work and I must say so far it’s getting pretty close to that perfect score. Unlike most wired mechanical gaming keyboards this does not have all the fancy RGB lighting options which of course is fine for me. The one thing I am not super fond of are the 6 F1 through fF6 function keys in a vertical column down the left side of the keyboard with maybe half an inch of space between them and the left most keys like Control, Shift, Caps Lock, Tab, ` and Escape. But I also bought a wired Logitech mechanical keyboard and it also has them, most mechanical keyboards are designed for gamers rather than people who want a mechanical keyboard for typing. It takes a bit of getting used to not accidently pressing them. gamers can configure these keys as macro keys to perform whatever actions gamers want. Apart from that the keyboard has a very traditional layout with nice spaces between the blocks of function keys, the inverted cursor T, the 6-pack with Insert/Delete, Page Up/Down and Home/End, of course the number pad and above that it has 4 more slightly lower media keys for Play/Pause, Stop, Rewind and Forward. At the very top is a slider switch which locks the Windows key which apparently gamers like so they don’t accidently press it and Cortana/the search box pops up, then there are two buttons which switch between the USB Lightspeed connection and the Bluetooth connection and once the Bluetooth connection to the iPhone has been established all it takes is to press the Bluetooth button in order to switch to the phone and the USB button to switch back. On the very top right is a large key which is a volume rocker, press the left side for down and the right side for up and beside that is a Mute button. Finally on the right side towards the back is a on/off slider switch. The keyboard runs on 2 AA batteries and is supposed to give you 18 month of battery life. There is a proper application key on the right side of the spacebar which works, but there is no Windows key on the right side which is something you don’t hardly see any more.
Logitech uses their own Romer-G switches and not Cherry MXswitches. The Romer-G are most like Cherry Brown, a nice distance of travel, but not hard to press and relatively quiet for mechanical keys. They do take a bit of getting used to, but I quite like them. For those who want to read more about them, below is a link to a review from Tom’s Hardware:

The other nice thing about this keyboard is it’s relatively reasonable price, I paid $129.99 Canadian for it, believe I read that on a good deal you can pick it up in the US for as low as $70 US. Wireless mechanical keyboards are not out there too much yet, I did find a couple more made by the company “Das Keyboard” but they are more expensive although I may order them from Amazon to test and if I don’t like them at least as much or better send them back. My other 2 computers at my store where I have a Logitech MK510 keyboard and mouse combo both start to show their wear on the keyboards and I want to see if using mechanical keyboards won’t change the fact that many of the keyboards which are mostly out there these days are typically done after 2 or at most 3 years of heavy use. As with all mechanical keyboards keep in mind that the Logitech G613 is heavy compared to other non-mechanical wireless keyboards. And one last thing which is nice, this keyboard has function keys which work as function keys out of the box and as much as I also like my K780, it’s a bit of a pain to have to install the not very accessible Logitech Options software just so you can change the function keys to behave like function keys instead of media keys.

I thought it would be OK to post a brief review here on the Logitech G613 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard since just as myself I assume others also are always looking for the “perfect” keyboard. I don't think how fast IE is has anything to do with how fast your system is. It may have a bit to do with whether you have a 6 Mbps down/1 Mbps up ADSL connection or a 250 MBPS down/50 MBPS up fiber connection, but believe me, I also have some relatively fast systems and I have older slower ones and IE is equally slow on all of them. When they talk about fast web browsers and do tests where they set whatever benchmarks are being used I am sure there is a reason why Chrome is always performing much higher than IE or why, for that matter, pretty much most modern chromium based browsers do.

Hi, There are several ways to achieve this but try this one. 1. Open both the workbook containing the sheet you want to copy and the workbook you wish to copy the sheet into. 2. Go to the sheet you want to copy or move. 3. Press F6 to cycle to the Sheet tab name - JAWS will say "Sheet Tab, TAB NAME tab". 4. Press the Applications key to display the equivalent of the right mouse click menu and arrow down until you here "Move or Copy Sheet" 5. Select this option. You will be asked to “move sheet before “ and be placed in a list of all the sheets in the workbook. 6. Press Shift+Tab to move into a combo box and JAWS will say “To Book” and the current file name will be spoken. 7. You can now arrow through the combo box and choose which file to move or copy the sheet into including to a new blank workbook. 8. Once you’ve made your choice, tab down to the “Create a coy” check box. Check this if you want to copy the sheet leaving the original untouched. Leave blank if you want to move the sheet from the current file to the new file. 9. Tab to the OK option and press Enter. The sheet will be moved or copied depending on your choice and you will be in the new file. This is the same option to move sheets around in a workbook as well. Be careful of copying sheets with embedded links to other tabs in the file. You can also get to this option by using the old command Alt+E M (Edit Move). Hope this helps
