Now, this is strange,in Office 365, if I select a photo, press the applications key and up arrow, Format Picture comes up immediately, and one of the selections is Alt Text, although the picture has already been automatically described, with a somewhat gemeric but acceptable description.

Re: Excel duplicate values with jaws 2019
Faraz
hi, Thanks for your reply! yes i did search that query over google and went through different articles telling how to create conditional formatting for duplicate values in Excel, but unfortunately these functions only highlight the duplicate values, which never readable with jaws. i.e. if i enter "123" twice in any column, excel conditional formatting function will highlight that duplicate cell but jaws never tells me if that cell is highlighted or not. I hope you got my point!

Re: Entering data in an Excel form
Norma A. Boge
Hi guys,
Let me clarify my initial post: I am able to edit the spreadsheet, no problems there. MS calls it a template, but it has a spreadsheet extension, XLS. Kinda confusing. Here’s my question: If I insert text into A3, isn’t there a keystroke to jump to the next cell that needs to be filled in? Something similar to tabbing to the next edit box in an online form? I can edit and add and remove cell titles, etc. as I see fit. After that, I have the order form for my business. When it’s time for me to take the customer’s information and fill out the order form, how do I move through the form fields? If this is still confusing, I’m ok with that. I’m probably using the incorrect verbiage to make my explanation clear. I have other options by which to save the information. Using a “template” seemed easy. Not so much, but I’m learning. <smile> Thanks, Norma

I think I should be able to enter data in the first field then go directly to the next field, enter data, and so on. Right now tabbing gets me to every cell, most of which are blank. I guess what I need is how to go into forms mode in Excel. I’m sure my answer is out there somewhere, so thanks in advance!

Re: Jaws 2020
Randy Barnett <blindmansbluff09@...>
Here is an answer from MS for Windows and Multi core CPU's. From Microsoft -
Windows 10 supports a maximum of two physical CPUs, but the number
of logical processors or cores varies based on the processor
architecture. A maximum of 32 cores is supported in 32-bit
versions of Windows 8, whereas up to 256 cores are supported in
the 64-bit versions.
Can it use them? Absolutely. Will the average person take advantage of this much CPU power? Not likely.
Not at all. While games do require some CPU horsepower, GPU power is often king in gaming. I doubt any game would come close to using this much CPU (unless there was a bug) anytime in the near future. These types of CPU are more for data analytics and number crunching, not for a home consumer. One could make the argument that "more" is better, there are diminishing returns in standard use environments. There definitely are some applications that can take advantage of such a high number of cores. Video editing, 3D modeling, etc. However, that level of CPU power is not used by the average user. 12/10/2019 1:58 PM, Randy Barnett via Groups.Io wrote:

There are very few programs that actually use more than one core. This is another bit of hype from Intel. with that said AMD has and has had multi core processors for a long time. If you have programs that explicitly say they use multi core code then that is when it really matters. Actually I don't know if you can even buy a single core CPU anymore. from Google: Single-core
processors have more or less been
phased-out in favor of multi-core processors since
the early 2010s for the mobile, desktop, and server markets. Single-core
processors can still be
found in various low-power, embedded, and special-purpose
applications and devices.Sep

Nothing new here. you can dew all of the things mentioned already
with a e-mail client. IMAP syncs everything across all your
devices and you can still use the web portal when you don't have
access to your e-mail client. So I don't really get the point
other than getting people to use Google directly so Google can
track you more efficiently.
