I'm using webmail but that should be changing soon.
David Ingram
Hi list members, i'm writing to let you know that i'm using webmail in order to write messages. I'm not sure if the webmail has commands semular to those that we would use when using outlook or some other e mail program. I'm sorry that my messages are not being posted where they should be but I don't know all the commands to change things here. I will try again to get some assistance to see that things are posting the way that they should until I get back to using outlook.

FW: Help gather accessibility data
Kevin Meyers <kevinmeyers@...>
Hello,
Below is a few links to survey’s for digital accessibility. I have taken similar survey’s in the past.
Cheers,
Kevin

Sent: Monday, September 2, 2019 5:19 AM To: w3c-wai-ig@... Subject: Help gather accessibility data
Dear Colleagues,
Firstly, please accept my apologies for any cross-posting if you have already seen this request. Secondly, please be aware that this is not a W3C or WAI activity, but I have cleared it with EOWG to distribute to you as we plan to share the results with everyone when the results are in.
We are conducting research about changes in behaviour around digital accessibility. There are two surveys, one is to get an update on the user experience, whether people are letting website owners know of website accessibility issues and if the issues are resolved, and the other one is much needed update to organisational attitudes.
Would you be willing to complete both surveys and be willing to help with distribution? There is no commercial content in the surveys and nothing identifiable will be shared. We are actually hoping we get thousands of responses – it is ambitious, I know. People don’t really like completing surveys, but at the moment I haven’t been able to get this data anywhere so thought we’d just do some research to collect the data we need for our research papers. The surveys are very short – only 3-4 minutes average.
Here are the survey links.
Understanding the Digital User Experience
Digital Accessibility for Organisations
Here are some other methods to share:
Thank you so much for your help with this project. We will make the data available to everyone once it is collated, so that you can use it to further the case for digital accessibility.

Outlook 2016 Message List View Header Problem Has Returned
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
You may recall that yesterday, I mentioned a problem with Jaws not reading the full headers in an e-mail when going through a list view on my Outlook e-mail folders.
I now get only the subject line, the time of the message, and the size. The date of the message is missing.
My folder pane is set to normal, and my reading pane is set to off.
Interestingly, if I shut down and re-boot my computer, messages are listed normally for a while, but eventually, the partial listing issue returns.
I am convinced that this has something to do with a recent Offidce 365 update, since the problem has only occurred for the past few days.
I’d appreciate knowing if anyone else has experienced this issue, and what you have done as a more permanent fix.
I’m using the latest build of Jaws 2019 on this Windows 10 PC. My windows 10 version is version 1809.
Thank you!
Tom Behler

I generally use my phone and the instacart app, but
I have looked at the web site and it appears to be accessible as far as viewing
stores in your area, etc. but I have not placed an order using the
PC.

You may get different opinions on your question. For me, it was very tough to use it on my computer. It was much easier on my IPhone.

Which brings me back to my initial question: What webmail are we talking about here?
Clearly it matters, as the behavior that Mr. Ingram seems to be having is, in my experience, atypical. It is hard to give accurate advice without knowing the actual operating scenario. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1903, Build 18362 Many of the insights of the saint stem from his experience as a sinner. ~ Eric Hoffer

That obviously isn't the case for David, though. The original messages are there, and his cursor is being placed at the *bottom*. I don't think he's pressing ctrl-end. So either he has to change a setting or, indeed, press ctrl-home before he starts typing.

It *is* kind of amoot point anyway as it turns out, the person who originally started the conversation down this path is sending messages with no original content. :P

I don't think that people intentionally delete everything, I think that some folks have not figured out how to set their eMail client to show original message, or they turned that off, not knowing the significance.

The difference is that Brian provides context for his messages. If someone decides to delete messages because they are not responded to up top, that is completely their choice. On a high traffic list, though, having to delve through 20 quoted messages is worse than going back through the list archives and viewing each individual message, by far. Searching for a specific keyword is made pointless by the fact that each and every message that is responded to with that keyword also is displayed.
