Jaws2022 Regular Facebook on Reply

Hi All I have jaws2022 and windows10 on desktop and laptop computer . When I am on regular facebook site and was reading some friend and groups post there is reply on some post so I press enter on reply the reply box open then I type in my reply while I was typing jaws started repeat the contact name who I was replying to then when I finished typing I press tab key I don’t even hear reply button then I press tab again it say comment So I cancel the reply !! I never use the regular facebook site to do any reply at all!! I only do do reply on regular mobile facebook site on mbasic.facebook.com website ,but I’m having some issue with reply on regular mobile facebook site when I press enter on reply it’s say this page not available and do not have permission to view this page.
Does anyone know how to do reply on regular facebook ? Addison |

My experience is that JAWS2023 loses focus often, not just with mail.

Hello,
Unfortunately and quite frustrating my jaws2023 very often loses focus when I am using windows mail even though windows mail is maximized. Also very frustrating and disappointing often in windows mail when I try to open a email I lose jaws completely and have to restart jaws. Anyone maybe have any ideas on why I am having these jaws 2023 problems with windows mail in win10 21h1?
Because of the troubles above I am having quite often with jaws 2023 in windows mail, I am wondering how user friendly is thunderbird with jaws 2023? Does the latest version of thunderbird work well with jaws 2023?
Any help I can maybe please get with these above questions would be so very much appreciative. Much, much thanks in advance for any possible help with this.

That's the problem, downloading older
versions! The process has changed dramatically and it was inconsistent at
best getting this download link. FS / Vispero has changed the way to get
previous versions of Jaws and why only they can answer, or probably
not.

Brian, I have been a supporter of Windows Defender for years and only defender and totally trust it. My concern was only that there are some reports saying that the performance is not equal using Win 11 as it has been with Win 10. Therefore I feel it is important to check out alternatives if they become necessary. I have not done further investigating to see if the reports are accurate and am currently still using Windows Defender. I just don’t want to get careless. Marie

Position the focus on the first column on the row that is the title row. Press CTRL+F3. Change what is there to ColumnTitle. The JAWS documentation is somewhat confusing n this regard. In one place, it says to use things like TitleRow and TitleColumn. In other places, and historically, we were advised to use things like RowTitle or ColumnTitle.

While in excel, go to the quick settings with insert+V. Type in title and then down arrow to Title reading detection and space bar until you get to columns. Then tab to ok and press enter.

Bill gave how to make the change globally. I find that it changes based on where I put the last item I downloaded. When I press enter to download something, I wait for the computer to say it needs attention and to press control j (I think that is the one it says). I do that and can tab or shift tab through the options-open, save, etc. Press save and the old dialog box showing the name of the item to download pops up. Then shift tab up twice to get to where you can find a place to put it.
