It’s supposed to be an audio enhancement service. Presumably it adjusts your settings depending on what type of headphones you’re wearing. I find it doesn’t make much difference and only eats

I had the same problem with an XPS 8940. It’s not JAWS. Go into your startup apps, and disable WaveMax audio. Restart your computer. $20 says you don’t have memory problems anymore.

Are you looking at all processes or just applications in your task
manager? If in all processes, you should get most memory accounted
for.

The PDFs from school are compiled by copying the various parts from different people at the school into one message. I don't have enough computer knowledge to sort it out past that.

The big issue with pefs which make it seductive to have them converted to word, is at least for me, the fact that in many cases but unfortunately not all, footnotes are rendered

I use control F12, which puts me in a dialog box, at which point, I find the file I want to open and go from there. It
