Re: Accessible dvd player software.
Yes, VLC should certainly display your video, unless something is wrong with it. It’sa pretty valiant workhorse about such things. But playing videos is what I mostly use it for.

I forget about that also, because I've encountered that more with excel.

OMG! Mike, thank you so so much! That was the problem.
I never even knew it was possible to collapse the ribbon.
Now it's working just fine.
Feel like I should bang my head on the desk.

Did you test JAWS in Local User Directory mode? If you can't reproduce the issue in that mode, then it's something specific to your JAWS settings.

Nermin,
No, I don't use the virtual ribbon setting. In fact I was wondering if
it would help to turn it on but haven't done that.
As I said, it works perfectly with both Narrator and NVDA.

Karen,
The alt R W shortcut does work both in narrator and NVDA. That leads
me to think that office 2021 just wasn't thoroughly tested during

Hi Nermin,
So if this is turned on, mine is, does this mean that those shortcut keys won't work?
Also, should the ribbons be maximized? If so, how?

Jaws and Teams: who is speaking?
HI,
I couldn't find this feature in Jaws 2021 but I don't think it's present in later versions either.
How can I know who is speaking in a Teams call with many people?
Thank you

Hi Kimber,
if it works in Narrator, do you have virtual ribbons in JAWS turned on by any chance?
This produces an artificial context menu style layer of commands that you can navigate but will rid

Try it with jaws 2022.
it works in narrator, which is good because the next jaws fix might do it.

I did get the shift control g to work. And going to f6 and going to it worked too.
Let us know how your ticket results go.

Hi Karen,
That's my experience also. Interestingly, the same command works
perfectly in both narrator and NVDA.
I suppose I'll open a ticket with tech support.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Hi Kim
I just upgraded to Office 2021 too. I don't use word count often, but went and tried it. That doesn't work for me either. I had to go down and then over to it. Once there, and I entered on it
